First off, introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you and your books!
Hello, hello my lovely internet friends! I write urban fantasy and paranormal romance under the pen name Anna Hawke. Currently, I have one series out called the Immortal Accords, which will finish as a twelve book series. My books feature supernatural beings in the modern world, including elementals, werewolves, vampires, and Raeths. I absolutely adore the world I’ve created and can’t wait to share it with you!
What (or who) inspired you to write your book/series?
I’ve always enjoyed reading, and I began writing when I was in middle school. Fantasy and paranormal romance have always been what I gravitated to, and I figured what better place to start!
What’s your biggest gripe in the fantasy genre these days? What do you wish authors would do more or less of?

If you enjoy elemental magic and psi abilities like teleportation, telepathy, and reaper abilities, definitely check out my series! I’ve created two new immortal ‘breeds’, and you won’t find them elsewhere!
Who was your favorite character to write about and why?
Honestly, I wish the fantasy genre had fewer toxic relationships. So many books these days glamorize unhealthy things and I feel they can be damaging. This is why my books focus on positive and wholesome relationships between main characters.
Tell us about your favorite quote or scene in the book and why? (No spoilers!)
To sacrifice your happiness for someone you love? It’s a prison of the prettiest kind.
Quick! Dinosaurs have found a portal through time and have come back to destroy humanity. Which of your characters are you picking to help defend you and why?
Nina! She’s quick thinking, a natural born leader, and incredibly powerful. Also she’d probably make friends with the velociraptors….
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve had to look up in the name of book research?
What a great question! I had to research the affects of silver nitrate on the human body once, and “create” a believable antidote for werewolves based on that research.
This or that: The stunningly attractive alpha jerk who you love to hate or the somehow sweet but also annoying overprotective “I will burn the world for you” psycho? (and tell us why)

If you could choose to be one of your characters for a day, who would it be and why?
Nina – she is the characters I’ve “known” the longest, and the one the entire series revolves around!

Mr. Darcy, Sirius from Harry Potter, and Isaiah from my books!
