Suck it, 2020! You will not be missed. At least by me.
Okay, so one good thing came out of that miserable year: I published my first book! Thank you all for your continued support through my writing journey, and I hope you stick around for what I have planned for 2021.
So, what’s in store for 2021? A lot of cool stuff.
First off, as I’m writing this post, book 2 in the Black Sheep series, How to Rescue a Stubborn Savage Princess is in the hands of my editor and will be done shortly. Unfortunately, I ran into a bit of an issue with my illustrator. Almost immediately after I finished writing the book, I learned he’d no longer be able to do my cover. I had to scramble to switch gears and find someone else, but of course the turnaround I was expecting was no longer possible. The new cover won’t be ready until the end of January, which means I’m hoping for an early February release.
Fear not, my friends! If you’re itching to get it a little sooner, I’m looking for ARC readers. If you’re willing to offer your review of the story on either Amazon or Goodreads, I can provide you a free ebook copy before it’s released. Just fill out the form below to get on the list.
It’s only January, and there’s so much more to come!
We’re introduced to a few new characters in How to Rescue a Stubborn Savage Princess. One in particular is a personal favorite of mine — Zulli! Born from a miswritten name on a Starbucks cup (more on that later), she only has a brief appearance but is dealing with her own mysterious adventure brewing. Be prepared for book 1 in a new series featuring Zulli coming up hopefully early summer, as well as (again, hopefully) the conclusion to Adrian’s adventure later in the year.
While I try to stick to a schedule, I hate putting dates on things because, well, I happen to run into problems more often than not with illustrators, editors, and personal matters popping up.
In the meantime, though, you can enjoy my mediocre artwork of Zulli.
How to Rescue a Stubborn Savage Princess
Things are finally starting to look up for Adrian after capturing Nolan. No longer a wanted fugitive, he’s decided to leave the police force and pursue a career change working with Daphne at Arcane Enterprises. For the first time in his life, he has people he can truly call friends. People he can trust and would do anything to protect.
There’s still one problem, though: this annoying, manipulative imposter stuck in Adrian’s head named Rezith whose mind is slowly eating away at him until one day soon there won’t be anything left. When Lizzy is captured and drained of her magic, Adrian has to make an important decision to work together with Rezith in order to rescue her. But is Rezith really the heartless traitor everyone says he is? Will he keep his word to help Adrian rescue Lizzy, or does he have a sneaky plan up his sleeve?
